If market conditions hold, the offering could reach valuations between $1.5 trillion and $2 trillion, potentially eclipsing the record set by SpaceX earlier this year. The company reported $16.3 billion in revenue for the first half of 2024, a sharp climb from $1.2 billion during the same period in 2023. However, the filing also revealed an $80.7 billion net loss, largely attributed to accounting adjustments linked to financing structures.
Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley have secured lead roles, with Morgan Stanley designated as the stabilization agent to manage initial trading volatility. Beyond the banking heavyweights, the filing highlights significant individual stakes held by founders, including CEO Dario Amodei, who controls 245 million shares. Other key personnel, such as Daniela Amodei and Jack Clark, hold similar positions, while venture firms including Iconiq, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Menlo Ventures remain deeply invested. Anthropic plans to trade under the ticker "ANT," with specific pricing details expected in roughly two weeks following investor feedback.
