Polaris Posts Q3 Profit Surge as Power-Sports Demand Climbs

With earnings hitting $38.4 million, Minnesota-based Polaris has successfully reversed its year-ago loss. The manufacturer of all-terrain vehicles and snowmobiles outperformed Wall Street expectations this quarter, driven by an 18% spike in power-sports sales that effectively offset the recent divestiture of its Indian motorcycle division.

Polaris Posts Q3 Profit Surge as Power-Sports Demand Climbs

The company reported adjusted earnings of $1.08 a share, nearly doubling the average analyst estimate of 59 cents. Total revenue climbed 11% to $2.04 billion, comfortably exceeding the $1.91 billion forecast. This growth trajectory prompted management to raise its 2026 outlook, with adjusted earnings now projected between $3.50 and $3.60 a share—a significant jump from the previous $3.00 to $3.10 range.

This upward revision leans heavily on the inclusion of tariff refunds, which account for approximately $1.09 per share of the forecasted total. Bolstered by these results, the company also lifted its full-year sales guidance to a range of $7.55 billion to $7.6 billion, signaling continued confidence in the recreational craft market despite the structural shift caused by shedding the Indian motorcycle brand.
