While the firm managed to boost revenue to 2.65 trillion yen from 2.47 trillion yen a year prior, operational costs weighed heavily on the bottom line. Operating profit contracted to 80.42 billion yen, down from 96.06 billion yen in 2025. Pretax profit followed a similar downward trajectory, settling at 87.90 billion yen compared to the previous 106.42 billion yen.
Earnings per share mirrored this cooling performance, falling to 70.23 yen from 93.19 yen. The divergence between top-line expansion and bottom-line contraction underscores the margin pressures currently facing the Japanese automotive supplier as it navigates the ongoing fiscal year.
