Sentrycs Targets Local Law Enforcement With $99,000 Drone Defense Kit

With the Federal Emergency Management Agency recently unlocking an additional $250 million to bolster domestic aerial security, Sentrycs has moved to secure its market share. The Ondas subsidiary is now pricing its Ranger counter-drone system at a flat $99,000, aiming to simplify procurement for cash-strapped state and local agencies.

Sentrycs Targets Local Law Enforcement With $99,000 Drone Defense Kit

The Ranger system utilizes radio-frequency technology to detect, track, and identify unauthorized unmanned aerial vehicles, providing operators with real-time intelligence on potential threats. By shifting to a fixed-price model, the company intends to remove the budgetary ambiguity that often hampers the acquisition of specialized defense hardware.

This offer arrives as federal authorities push for a nationwide expansion of counter-drone capabilities across all 50 states and U.S. territories. By streamlining the cost structure, Sentrycs hopes to facilitate rapid deployment for law enforcement teams tasked with monitoring public spaces and critical infrastructure against aerial intrusion.
