Dynamix Corp. to Liquidate After Failed Merger

After failing to secure a business combination within its mandated timeframe, blank-check firm Dynamix Corp. is shutting down operations. The company will now move to return capital to investors, marking the end of a brief public tenure that began just over a year ago.

Dynamix Corp. to Liquidate After Failed Merger

Shareholders can expect a redemption price of approximately $10.71 per public share, according to the company. Thursday is slated to be the final day of trading on the Nasdaq exchange for the firm. The stock recently saw a minor uptick, trading at $10.97.

The liquidation follows the collapse of a planned merger with Ether Reserve LLC. Initially intended to launch a cryptocurrency entity dubbed The Ether Machine, the agreement was abruptly terminated in April. While Dynamix Corp. exits the market, its sponsor, Dynamix Capital Partners, maintains other interests in the sector, including recent filings and offerings for its third and fourth blank-check vehicles.
