Coveo Expands AI Commerce Capabilities With Anglera Buyout

Coveo has acquired San Francisco-based Anglera, a Y Combinator-backed startup specializing in AI-native product data enrichment. The deal integrates Anglera’s agentic platform into Coveo’s existing commerce ecosystem, aiming to automate the complex task of validating and standardizing product specifications for large-scale enterprise retailers, manufacturers, and distributors.

Coveo Expands AI Commerce Capabilities With Anglera Buyout

Anglera provides an automated system capable of scraping and refining product details from manufacturer specifications, a process historically prone to human error and inefficiency. Ray Iyer, co-founder of Anglera, noted that the platform allows businesses to manage product knowledge at a scale previously impossible to process manually. Current Anglera clients will maintain access to their existing platform, while Coveo Commerce customers will gain the ability to integrate these enrichment tools as an add-on service. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Simultaneously, Coveo released its second-quarter financial results, reporting a loss of 3 cents per share on $40.4 million in revenue, an improvement over the 5-cent loss recorded in the same period last year. SaaS subscription revenue grew 9% to $39.1 million. Looking toward fiscal year 2027, the company projects total revenue between $160 million and $162 million, with SaaS subscriptions accounting for up to $158 million of that total.
