The Japanese chemical manufacturer saw its revenue climb to 8.74 billion yen, compared with 7.82 billion yen in the previous year. However, the surge in net profit contrasts with a broader decline in underlying profitability. The company posted a pretax loss of 48 million yen, a significant reversal from the 227 million yen pretax profit reported for the first half of 2025.
Earnings per share rose to 15.34 yen, up from 7.65 yen in the prior year. Despite the volatile performance, the firm maintained its dividend policy, forecasting an annual payout of 10.00 yen per share, consistent with the previous year's total. These results were calculated according to Japanese accounting standards.
