While the bottom line took a severe hit, top-line figures showed resilience. Revenue for the period ending September 30 climbed to 69.00 billion yen, up from 65.77 billion yen a year earlier. Operating profit also trended upward, reaching 2.47 billion yen compared to 1.99 billion yen in 2025. Pretax profit followed a similar trajectory, rising to 2.40 billion yen from 1.99 billion yen.
The dramatic year-over-year discrepancy in net profit is reflected in earnings per share, which dropped to 23.41 yen from 352.53 yen. These results, calculated under Japanese accounting standards, indicate that while core operations generated more income, the company faced substantial financial headwinds compared to the previous year's figures.
