Kyowa Kirin Profits Surge on Revenue Growth

Kyowa Kirin reported a significant jump in profitability for the first nine months of 2026, with net profit climbing to 51.67 billion yen from 32.60 billion yen in the same period last year. This sharp increase reflects the pharmaceutical company’s strengthened revenue streams throughout the fiscal year.

The Tokyo-based firm saw its total revenue reach 384.95 billion yen, up from 349.45 billion yen during the corresponding nine-month stretch in 2025. Pretax profit also followed an upward trajectory, rising to 64.73 billion yen compared to 47.92 billion yen previously. These financial results, prepared under IFRS accounting standards, brought earnings per share to 98.70 yen, a notable improvement over the 62.28 yen recorded in 2025.
