Gurunavi Net Profit Evaporates Amid Half-Year Revenue Growth

Zero yen in net profit marks a sharp reversal for Gurunavi Inc. as the company’s bottom line collapsed from the 128 million yen reported during the same period last year. Gurunavi Net Profit Evaporates Amid Half-Year Revenue Growth

Revenue for the six-month period reached 7.03 billion yen, climbing from 6.37 billion yen a year earlier. However, the gains failed to translate into operational success. The company swung to an operating loss of 25 million yen, compared to a profit of 105 million yen in the prior fiscal year. Pretax figures mirrored this downward trajectory, settling at a 48 million yen loss against a previous gain of 101 million yen. Consequently, earnings per share dropped to zero, a stark contrast to the 2.28 yen reported for the 2025 half-year results, which were prepared under Japanese accounting standards.
