The company’s uranium segment provided a consistent bedrock for operations, marking its third consecutive profitable quarter. Revenue reached $29.2 million, supported by 320,000 pounds of U3O8 sales at a weighted average price of $88.90 per pound. While operating costs remained stable, the firm’s broader financial results were hampered by $35.3 million in unrealized losses tied to interest-bearing debt securities.
Strategic expansion remains the primary focus. Following the August acquisition of Australian Strategic Materials, Energy Fuels is integrating a commercial-scale metals and alloys plant in South Korea. The company also confirmed it has begun constructing heavy rare earth oxide circuits at its White Mesa Mill in Utah. These developments are designed to feed into the planned acquisition of German magnet producer Vacuumschmelze (VAC), which is expected to close in early 2027. This vertical integration aims to link domestic mining directly to the production of high-performance magnets used in the automotive and defense sectors.
