According to official statements, the organizations plan to re-evaluate conditions on Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. ET to determine if operations can safely resume.

Supply Chain Bottlenecks

Real-time cargo tracking data from Vortexa indicates that the suspension has created an immediate backlog of energy supplies. Several tankers are currently waiting in holding patterns outside major regional hubs, unable to discharge their contents.

The disruption is most acute in Boston and New Haven, where specific high-volume shipments are currently stalled:

is holding 296,400 barrels of gasoline outside Boston.

The Nor'easter

is waiting to deliver 264,600 barrels of ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD).

The Torm Amorina

remains stationary near New Haven with a 278,100-barrel gasoline cargo.

In addition to these localized delays, several other vessels are positioned further off the Eastern Seaboard. These tankers, carrying a mix of gasoline and distillates destined for New York Harbor and Connecticut, are effectively sidelined until pilot services resume and sea conditions stabilize.
