NWPX Infrastructure has finalized its acquisition of Boughton’s Precast, a Colorado-based manufacturer specializing in concrete products. The transaction sees the business rebranded as NWPX Precast. While the company did not disclose the specific purchase price, leadership confirmed that the deal is expected to be immediately accretive to earnings.

Scaling Regional Infrastructure

The acquisition represents NWPX’s third major expansion since 2018, following a steady trajectory of growth in the water transmission sector. The firm previously acquired Geneva Pipe and Precast Company in January 2020 and ParkUSA in October 2021. This latest move integrates a dedicated manufacturing facility in Colorado into the company’s existing logistics network.

Chief Executive Scott Montross stated that the addition strengthens the company’s ability to serve a rapidly growing market while simultaneously expanding its technical precast capabilities. By securing a physical presence in Colorado, NWPX aims to streamline service delivery for regional infrastructure projects and enhance its specialized concrete production.
