Hemlo Mining Moves to Toronto Stock Exchange Main Board

Canadian gold producer Hemlo Mining is graduating from the TSX Venture Exchange to the Toronto Stock Exchange’s main board this Monday. The company will voluntarily delist from the junior exchange effective Friday, while retaining its HMMC stock symbol as it transitions to the senior market.

President and Chief Executive Jason Kosec described the move as a significant milestone, positioning the firm alongside some of the world’s most prominent gold producers. The company expects the upgrade to broaden its shareholder base and improve trading liquidity, while potentially opening doors for index inclusion.

Hemlo Mining secured conditional approval for the transfer last month. This shift reflects a strategy to gain greater institutional visibility after operating on the venture tier.
