The United States Air Force has renewed its long-term partnership with 49North, securing the use of the Global Procedure Designer platform through a new $43 million contract. The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity agreement includes an initial fiscal 2026 funding obligation of approximately $4.7 million. Work under this contract will be centered in Richmond, British Columbia, where the company will provide operations support, help desk services, and ongoing software sustainment. This deal extends a relationship spanning more than 25 years between the Canadian subsidiary and U.S. military command.

The Global Procedure Designer platform serves as a standardized tool for aviation safety, automating complex calculations against terrain, obstacle, and aeronautical datasets. It is built to maintain compliance with ICAO PANS-OPS, FAA TERPS, and NATO MIPS criteria. According to 49North President Joe Armstrong, the renewal reflects the platform's established reliability in supporting allied military aviation and mission readiness. The contract covers a base year plus four option years, focusing on annual capability updates and alignment with evolving cybersecurity and international regulatory standards.
