The production team will film at the Gooding, Idaho campus and across regional clinics in Buhl, Hailey, Jerome, and Twin Falls later this year. The documentary highlights the facility’s transition from a traditional taxing district to a more flexible organizational model. This structural shift allowed the hospital to deploy advanced robotics, AI-driven diagnostic tools, and telemedicine protocols that larger, urban conglomerates often struggle to implement with similar speed.
Beyond the technical infrastructure, the program examines the hospital’s role as an economic stabilizer and primary employer. By documenting the intersection of modern surgery and community-based care, the segment provides a blueprint for sustaining health services where geography traditionally limits patient outcomes. The series aims to inform both the public and policymakers about the necessity of preserving these hubs to prevent the migration of families from rural areas.
