This deployment marks a significant expansion for the state’s largest independent fiber provider, specifically targeting the high-capacity needs of hyperscale data centers. By integrating 400 Gig wavelength services, LOGIX aims to provide the ultra-low latency transport required by cloud computing and large-scale AI workloads currently reshaping the regional digital economy. CEO Greg O'Connor stated the project underscores the company's capacity to scale alongside the rapid influx of enterprise investment into Texas hubs.
With a footprint spanning over 300,000 fiber miles and connectivity to more than 80 data centers, LOGIX is positioning itself as the primary backbone for mission-critical operations. The infrastructure upgrade reflects a broader shift as the state cements its status as a global destination for AI and cloud infrastructure, necessitating a more robust, scalable network foundation to sustain long-term digital growth.
