The certification process, conducted by Forvis Mazars—one of the nation's first six authorized CMMC Third-Party Assessment Organizations—confirms that Dynamic Quest meets the full suite of NIST Special Publication 800-171 security requirements. By securing this status, the company provides a shortcut for defense contractors who handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Instead of building their own compliant infrastructure from scratch, these clients can now leverage Dynamic Quest’s existing, audited controls to expedite their own path to certification.
This development arrives as the defense industrial base faces a significant compliance bottleneck. While roughly 80,000 contractors are required to meet Level 2 standards, industry reports suggest only 1% feel fully prepared for the upcoming transition. John Guillaume, CEO of Dynamic Quest, noted that the company pursued this certification to provide a credible foundation for partners, emphasizing that the perfect audit score reflects the rigor required for contractors to maintain their standing in the federal supply chain.
