Produced by GoHands, the series follows the journey of Elymas, an outcast branded with a "defective" class, and his ally Ruche as they navigate a world that mirrors a VR game Elymas mastered in a past life. The new footage highlights the studio’s signature kinetic animation style, emphasizing the protagonist's strategic use of specialized skills to overcome his perceived limitations. The show will debut on Crunchyroll as a two-cour broadcast.

To complement the visuals, ReoNa has been tapped to perform the ending theme, "Lv.1 Class: Human." The artist noted that the song aims to capture the protagonist's resilient, unconventional spirit. Meanwhile, the opening theme, "Awake," is performed by the rock band SPYAIR, who described the track as a fast-paced anthem for those struggling to move forward despite lingering doubts. The series, based on the popular Kodansha manga with over 3 million copies in circulation, features a voice cast led by Takeo Otsuka as Elymas and Shion Wakayama as Ruche, under the direction of Shingo Suzuki and Katsumasa Yokomine.
