To secure a foothold in the competitive ERCOT retail energy market, newly formed Graviti Power, LLC has selected VertexOne’s cloud-based billing and customer information systems. Graviti Power, which focuses on providing electricity to large-scale commercial clients such as industrial warehouses, retail malls, and EV charging networks, will deploy VertexOne’s VXretail and VXexchange platforms. According to Graviti Power CEO Vidya Sagar, the decision hinges on the need for a scalable, automated backbone capable of handling the specific regulatory and billing requirements of the Texas energy grid. By integrating enrollment, usage tracking, and market transactions into a single environment, the startup intends to streamline operations while addressing rising demand for commercial electrification.

Ananda Goswami, Senior Vice President of Sales Strategy at VertexOne, noted that the platform is designed to allow new market entrants to maintain compliance and flexibility as they grow. For Graviti Power, this integration serves as a foundation for a broader energy ecosystem, allowing the firm to balance wholesale procurement with direct, reliable service for high-load customers across the state.
