Kevin’s Natural Foods Enters Breakfast Market with Scramble Starters

Nearly 70% of consumers report eating the same breakfast daily, a cycle of monotony that Kevin’s Natural Foods aims to break. The Stockton-based brand is expanding its footprint beyond refrigerated entrées, launching a line of frozen 'Scramble Starters' designed to turn standard egg dishes into chef-crafted meals in minutes.

The new product line bridges the gap between freezer-aisle convenience and fresh preparation. Each 16-ounce multi-serve bag contains a mix of protein and vegetables paired with signature sauces, requiring only the addition of eggs to complete the dish. The company is positioning the product as a solution for time-strapped consumers who want restaurant-quality flavor without a lengthy morning prep time.

Kevin’s is rolling out four distinct varieties nationwide: Denver-Style Ham & White Cheddar, Spinach & Bacon Florentine, Tex-Mex Style Avocado Chicken, and Ranchero Sirloin Steak. These options leverage the brand’s focus on clean ingredients, a cornerstone established by co-founder Kevin McCray. Becky Graham, the company's chief marketing officer, noted that the product was developed to resolve the conflict between the need for speed and the desire for a high-quality, satisfying start to the day.

Available at retailers including Target, Kroger, and Harris Teeter, the starters carry a suggested retail price of $9.99. Each bag provides up to four servings, fitting into the company’s broader strategy of offering gluten-free, Paleo, and Keto-friendly options for busy households.
