The evaluation process for this year's awards was particularly rigorous, involving a comprehensive analysis by the Good Housekeeping Institute’s dietitians and culinary experts. Beyond scrutinizing ingredient lists and nutritional data, the selection committee relied on feedback from over 2,000 taste testers. These participants evaluated products based on innovation, nutritional criteria, and overall flavor, with Stringles consistently outperforming competitors in blind taste tests.
Stefani Sassos, Good Housekeeping’s Nutrition Director, noted that the product distinguished itself through its texture and fresh taste. Culinary professionals echoed this sentiment, highlighting that the quality of the organic milk used in production provides a distinct, wholesome profile. Each serving of the snack delivers seven grams of protein, aligning with the brand’s commitment to organic standards, which exclude the use of synthetic hormones, antibiotics, and GMOs.
Currently, the product is available at grocery retailers nationwide, retailing for $6.99 per eight-pack. As a farmer-owned cooperative founded in 1988, Organic Valley continues to focus on its mission of supporting small-scale family farms while expanding its footprint in the competitive snack category.
