The EB-XQ2030B marks a significant shift in large-venue hardware by combining high-brightness output with a compact chassis enabled by Epson’s proprietary Advanced Cooling Engine. According to Chris Teguh, product manager at Epson America, the design allows creative teams to deploy high-intensity visuals in unconventional spaces without compromising architectural integrity or sightlines. The projector features 3-chip 3LCD technology and 4K Crystal Motion to ensure color accuracy and deep black levels required for professional-grade immersive installations.
To complement the hardware, Epson is launching the H-Series lens family, which offers a throw ratio coverage ranging from 0.35 to 11:1. These lenses include specialized options for off-axis projection and rear-facing setups, providing integrators with greater flexibility for multi-projector mapping. The system also prioritizes durability with an IP6X-rated, hermetically sealed optical engine and a filterless design to minimize maintenance in hard-to-access locations. Connectivity is managed through an integrated Intel SDM slot, supporting media player modules and AVoIP workflows. The projector is scheduled for release in early 2027.
