Thrifty Traveler launches free dashboard to track credit card perks

As banks hike annual fees and pack travel cards with complex, time-sensitive perks, Minneapolis-based Thrifty Traveler has launched a free digital dashboard. The tool allows users to monitor benefits and points across more than 120 credit cards without requiring sensitive personal data or financial account linking.

The new interface replaces the company’s previous spreadsheet-based system, expanding capacity to accommodate households of up to four people. Users can manually log their card portfolios and monitor point balances across major airline and hotel loyalty programs. The dashboard features visual alerts, flagging benefits in orange when they expire within 30 days and red when they reach the two-week mark. By tracking usage against annual fees, the system provides a clear view of whether a card is paying for itself.

Co-founder Nick Serati noted that the complexity of modern travel rewards often turns benefit management into a secondary occupation for frequent flyers. To address privacy concerns, the platform avoids direct bank integrations, requiring no login credentials, credit scores, or card numbers. Instead, users manually select their cards and check off utilized perks. The service is available to anyone who creates an account, with existing subscribers accessing the feature through their current credentials.
