The platform utilizes an open-architecture design to fuse data from radar, radio frequency, and electro-optical sensors regardless of the original manufacturer. By integrating these disparate streams, the software enables security teams at the California-based installation to monitor airspace activity and coordinate responses without juggling multiple applications. This move is designed to accommodate future sensor upgrades and evolving UAS threats without forcing a complete overhaul of existing infrastructure.
Jerry McGee, CEO of UNIFY.C2, noted that securing a hub for high-altitude intelligence requires more than a single layer of detection. The goal is to provide base defenders with a clear, real-time picture of the sky to accelerate decision-making during security incidents. The system supports a wide range of technologies, including Remote ID and cyber counter-capabilities, effectively creating a flexible foundation for the base's ongoing mission requirements.
