BrokerTech Ventures Returns to Chicago for 2026 Insurance Summit

Chicago will host the second annual BrokerTech Connect conference this September, gathering C-suite executives and insurtech innovators for a two-day forum. The invitation-only event aims to bridge the gap between traditional insurance brokerages and emerging technology, focusing on high-level networking rather than large-scale attendance.

The conference, scheduled for September 1–2, 2026, at The Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park, serves as a convening platform for leaders from brokerages, carriers, and venture capital firms. Dan Keough, Chairman and CEO of Holmes Murphy and Co-CEO of BrokerTech Ventures, noted that Chicago remains a critical hub for the industry, providing a space for timely dialogue and structural change. Mohit Chawla, CEO of presenting sponsor eventual, highlighted that the event targets the intersection of data-driven workflows and artificial intelligence, which he believes will define the industry's future trajectory.

Attendance is strictly limited to ensure quality interactions among participants. The program features a diverse roster of sponsors, including The BrokerTech Fund, Vertafore, and Ascend, alongside niche automation providers like Fulcrum and StitchStudio. Interested professionals are currently being directed to a waitlist via the organization's website to request an invitation. Since its founding in 2019, Des Moines-based BrokerTech Ventures has focused on scaling technology solutions through broker distribution channels, acting as a catalyst for research and testing within the insurance sector.
