The collaboration, functioning under the ILO’s Promise II Impact project, targets returning migrant workers and individuals with disabilities. By leveraging the Evermos reseller platform, participants gain access to a digital ecosystem that allows them to launch businesses with minimal capital and no requirement for physical storefronts. The curriculum focuses on product selection, digital marketing, and essential financial literacy, utilizing tools like WhatsApp Business to facilitate immediate market entry.
Since 2023, the initiative has supported over 230 beneficiaries across regions including Cirebon and Yogyakarta. Training sessions have engaged local organizations such as the Indonesian Association of Women with Disabilities and the Mitra Sejahtera Disability Empowerment Centre. According to Evermos President Arip Tirta, the goal is to ensure that digital transformation reaches those furthest from traditional economic opportunities. Project manager Djauhari Sitorus noted that the partnership serves as a scalable model for inclusive growth, proving that access to technology and mentorship can transform vulnerable populations into self-reliant digital entrepreneurs.
