BizWatt Rebrands as Qfactor to Align with Flagship Surveying Software

Laguna Beach-based software provider BizWatt has officially renamed its corporate entity to Qfactor, mirroring the brand identity of its widely used workflow management platform. Founder Frederick Dyste confirmed the transition, citing the software’s deep integration into the daily operations of thousands of land surveying firms across the United States.

The rebranding marks a shift for the company, which has operated under the BizWatt name since its inception in 2016. According to Dyste, the decision follows consistent user feedback, as clients increasingly identify the business solely by the name of the tools they rely on for project management, field operations, and document organization. By unifying the corporate identity with its primary product, the company aims to solidify its position as a standard-bearer for workflow automation in the surveying sector.

Beyond the name change, the company continues to refine its centralized platform, which enables collaboration between field crews, office administrators, and project managers. The software supports essential tasks including budgeting, invoicing, and scheduling, while maintaining compatibility with major accounting systems like QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and Deltek. This strategic alignment serves as a precursor to further platform expansion, focusing on productivity and profitability tools for surveying businesses nationwide.
