The hardware retains its core specifications, including a 0.33-inch DMD chip, 750 lumens of brightness, and a 66Wh battery capable of three hours of playback. The integration of Gemini AI introduces four distinct modes: Ask, Learn, Brief, and Create. The Ask feature processes natural language queries to offer personalized recommendations and episode recaps, while the Learn function generates diagrams and narrated visuals to explain complex topics on wall-sized displays.
For content consumption, the Brief mode curates sports highlights and news updates, while the Create tool utilizes Veo video generation to animate static photos or project custom, AI-generated art. TCL stated that this rollout marks the beginning of a broader collaboration with Google to embed dynamic, generative intelligence across its wider portfolio of display devices.
