The work will be managed by HII’s mission technologies division, which is tasked with providing engineering support for complex systems essential to vessel operations. Beyond direct repairs, the contract includes a training component designed to bolster the self-sufficiency of sailors while at sea. The company plans to deploy rapid-response teams to provide technical assistance, ensuring that maintenance remains effective during active deployments.
