The expansion marks a significant shift from the controlled, specialty-specific environment of the initial pilot to a broader range of clinical topics. During the first phase, developers focused on validating the platform’s ability to provide accurate, cited responses grounded in trusted medical literature and clinical guidelines. Dr. Ruy Carrasco, Chief Medical Information Officer, noted that this foundation ensures the current expansion into primary care maintains the same rigorous evidence thresholds and source transparency protocols.

By incorporating Spanish-language clinical content optimized for the Mexican market, the partners are exploring how conversational AI can improve physician access to reliable medical data. Tyler Luck, CEO of Brand Engagement Network, described the transition as a vital step in assessing the platform’s performance across a more heterogeneous spectrum of clinical presentations. The results of this second phase will determine the roadmap for future development, regulatory considerations, and potential commercial deployment across the Latin American healthcare sector.
