Main St Bistro Launches Interactive Mac-Over for National Holiday

Seventy-three percent of Americans prefer customizing their macaroni and cheese with unique toppings, according to a recent survey. Ahead of National Macaroni & Cheese Day on July 14, Main St Bistro is capitalizing on this trend by debuting an interactive digital spinner designed to help home cooks elevate pre-made meals.

The brand, based in Beaverton, Oregon, aims to transform the dish from a simple side into a centerpiece. Recognizing that many young adults report limited cooking experience, Main St Bistro provides a high-quality base that requires minimal preparation. The new online tool generates hundreds of ingredient combinations to encourage culinary experimentation, ranging from hot honey and roasted red peppers to more robust additions like pulled pork, BBQ sauce, and truffle oil.

"People want meals that feel both exciting and achievable," said Anne Nelson, Brand Marketing Director at Reser’s. "Our 'Mac-Over' approach gives new and existing fans a simple, delicious starting point and endless ways to make it their own." Beyond recipe inspiration, the promotion includes a sweepstakes component. Participants using the digital spinner through July 14 have the chance to win one of over 600 pieces of exclusive, limited-edition merchandise themed around the holiday.
