Neiderman joins the publication from Temple Health, where she spent a decade leading development and annual giving programs. Her new mandate centers on advancing the model established by the late H.F. "Gerry" Lenfest, whose vision transformed the 200-year-old institution into a news organization supported by both traditional revenue and community philanthropy. Working alongside the Lenfest Institute for Journalism, she will focus on scaling the High-Impact Journalism Fund and deepening donor relationships.
Publisher and CEO Elizabeth H. Hughes cited Neiderman’s strategic leadership and local ties as key assets for the newspaper’s growth. Before her tenure at Temple Health, Neiderman held roles at the Pew Charitable Trusts and the Children’s National Health System. A Lower Merion native, she holds an MBA from Temple University and will now apply her background to connect Philadelphia-area supporters with the newsroom’s investigative and public-service reporting.
