Oregon Lottery Extends Technology Partnership with Brightstar

The Oregon Lottery has secured a five-year contract extension with Brightstar Lottery PLC, ensuring the provider remains the state’s central technology partner through May 2031. Under the new terms, Brightstar will overhaul the lottery’s central system and deploy 2,200 SignaLink digital signage units to manage real-time jackpot updates and retailer-specific messaging. The hardware upgrade also includes the installation of 1,000 Retailer Pro S2 terminals, which feature enhanced processors designed to accelerate transaction times and support modular, multi-display configurations for players.

Oregon Lottery Director Mike Wells noted that the collaboration, which spans over four decades, remains vital to maintaining a responsive retail ecosystem. Scott Gunn, Brightstar’s Chief Operating Officer for North America, emphasized that the extension reinforces the company's commitment to delivering long-term value for Oregon retailers and the communities they serve.
