The conference functions as a strategic pivot point for industry players, offering a platform to pitch products, infrastructure developments, and destination services to decision-makers from major cruise lines. Micky Arison, Chairman of Carnival Corporation & plc and the FCCA, described the event as the only venue in the region where attendees can engage directly with the executives responsible for driving commercial operations.
Central to the agenda are structured 15-minute one-on-one sessions, a format that has facilitated new tour launches and destination infrastructure investments over the past five years. Last year, the event hosted 1,030 individual meeting slots, a record organizers aim to surpass this cycle. Michele Paige, CEO of the FCCA, noted that the conference serves as a birthplace for regional tourism growth, bridging the gap between local stakeholders and the cruise lines that control 95 percent of global cruise capacity.
Delegates seeking to schedule individual meetings or secure early-bird pricing must register by August 31. While pre-registration remains open until October 11, the association warned that onsite registration will carry a price premium to account for logistical overhead.
