Dr. Moyo brings a diverse portfolio to the role, currently serving on the boards of Chevron, Starbucks, Conde Nast, and the National Geographic Society. Beyond her corporate governance work, she contributes to the Oxford University Endowment and has authored five best-selling books focused on global financial markets and geopolitical trends. She succeeds a long line of influential figures who have guided the club since its founding in 1907.

In her new capacity, Moyo intends to pivot the organization toward defining contemporary economic challenges. She highlighted artificial intelligence, the global energy transition, and shifting geopolitical alliances as central themes for the club’s future programming. Throughout its history, the forum has hosted a wide array of global leaders ranging from U.S. Presidents like John F. Kennedy and Donald J. Trump to international figures such as Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher.
