He previously served as CFO of Chesapeake Energy from 2021, navigating the company through its 2024 merger with Southwestern Energy to form Expand Energy. He remained in the role at the combined entity until August 2025, when he was terminated without cause according to regulatory filings. Earlier in his career, Singh held senior leadership roles at BPX Energy, the U.S. onshore subsidiary of BP.
Aron, who oversaw Archrock’s financial strategy for seven years, notified the company of his decision to retire this past March. The leadership change marks a significant shift for the firm as it moves into the second half of the year, despite the immediate cooling of investor sentiment following the news.
