Under the terms of the deal, CStone will receive an upfront payment alongside future regulatory and commercial milestone payments. The company will maintain responsibility for supplying the drug, while Arrotex, a subsidiary of the healthcare group DBG Health, will oversee local regulatory submissions and market access. This move marks the fifth international partnership for sugemalimab, extending its commercial footprint to cover over 60 countries.

Sugemalimab, a fully human IgG4 monoclonal antibody developed on CStone’s OmniRat platform, is already approved in China for five indications and holds regulatory clearance in the UK and EU for non-small cell lung cancer. By leveraging Arrotex’s established pharmacy network and regulatory expertise, CStone aims to accelerate the drug's entry into the Oceania market. The collaboration will cover multiple cancer types, including gastric cancer, esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, and extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma, aligning with the companies' shared focus on improving oncology patient outcomes.
