Central Park Bangkok Secures New Mall of the Year Title

Standing as a bridge between the urban density of the Thai capital and the greenery of Lumpini Park, Central Park has been named New Mall of the Year – Thailand at the 2026 Retail Asia Awards. The accolade highlights the site’s integration of high-end retail with an expansive rooftop public space.

The development, a central component of the broader Dusit Central Park project, anchors its appeal in a 7-rai Roof Park. By functioning as the largest rooftop green space within a Thai mixed-use development, it effectively extends the adjacent Lumpini Park’s ecosystem into the commercial district. This design reflects a broader shift toward integrating nature into the city’s high-traffic zones.

The Retail Asia Awards selection committee cited the project’s focus on customer experience and urban innovation. This recognition follows a period of rapid growth for the venue, punctuated by the "Central Park The Grand Celebration" event held earlier this year. The site now serves as a hub linking luxury residences, the Dusit Thani Bangkok hotel, and modern office environments into a single, cohesive ecosystem.

Beyond the capital, the parent company Central Pattana also earned honors for its provincial portfolio, with Central Krabi recognized as the Eco-Friendly Mall of the Year – Thailand. These twin awards underscore a strategic push to align large-scale commercial real estate with sustainable development and community-focused infrastructure across the country.
