The company’s revenue reached 166.51 billion yen during the period, a significant climb from the 148.97 billion yen reported in the previous year. This growth drove operating profit to 10.44 billion yen, outperforming the 10.13 billion yen recorded in the same period of 2024. According to the financial statement, these results were prepared under Japanese accounting standards.
Analysis of Earnings Performance
Despite the top-line expansion, pretax profit edged lower to 11.22 billion yen from 11.30 billion yen a year earlier. This suggests that while core manufacturing operations remain profitable, non-operating costs may have impacted the final pretax tally during the fiscal period.
Earnings per share improved to 141.19 yen, up from 123.88 yen in the prior year. The results highlight Okuma Corp's ability to maintain a strong bottom line through the nine months ending December 31, even as global industrial demand faces varying headwinds.
