AgileAI Labs Adds Natural Language Testing to Spec2TestAI Platform

Non-technical stakeholders can now generate and execute software tests using plain English, as AgileAI Labs rolls out a no-code update to its predictive development platform. The tool aims to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation by automating test scripts directly from project specifications.

The latest enhancement to the Spec2TestAI platform allows product managers and business analysts to participate in the quality assurance process without writing code. By leveraging natural language processing, the software transforms requirements into traceable test cases and automated scripts, including support for Cucumber BDD files and multiple programming languages like Java and Python. The system functions as a cumulative knowledge base that self-improves as teams build out their project assets.

CEO Missy Trumpler stated that the move is designed to democratize quality assurance across enterprises, reducing the technical debt often caused by fragmented communication between departments. Beyond test generation, the platform integrates with GenRocket’s Data Connect to enable synthetic data generation, allowing for large-scale testing of sensitive applications. Industry partners, including QA Mentor, Inc., report that the platform’s predictive analysis helps teams identify potential code failures and architectural gaps early in the development lifecycle, effectively shifting the focus toward high-risk components before execution begins.
