The rebranding does not signal a change in ownership, leadership, or daily operations at the 3601 East 15th Street location. According to General Manager Scott Struebing, the move is designed to provide customers with a more consistent experience by formally linking the Panama City site to the technology and resources of the parent company. Staffing and product offerings remain unchanged as the dealership continues to serve the Florida Panhandle, including Lynn Haven and Callaway.
Group 1 Automotive currently manages 250 dealerships and 310 franchises across the U.S. and the U.K. By adopting a unified naming structure, the company intends to make its locations more recognizable to consumers navigating its extensive retail network. For local drivers, this means maintaining established relationships with the current team while gaining access to the standardized service protocols and digital tools supported by the larger corporate platform.
