The new lineup features two primary models, the DXP4800 GT and the DXP2800 GT, both engineered to handle sustained workloads without the recurring costs associated with cloud-based storage services. The DXP4800 GT targets power users, supporting up to 144TB of storage and leveraging a 4-core, 8-thread AMD Ryzen Embedded R2514 processor. This unit includes dual M.2 NVMe SSD slots and high-concurrency ports designed for intensive tasks such as network-based video editing and security footage management.
For more compact environments, the DXP2800 GT offers a similar AMD-powered architecture but scales down to an 80TB capacity limit. Both systems run on the updated UGOS Pro software, which now includes a centralized Surveillance Center application for security data management. UGREEN has positioned these devices as long-term investments, emphasizing local RAID protection and hardware-level encryption over subscription-based models. Both models are available immediately in the United States, with the DXP4800 GT priced at $659.99 and the DXP2800 GT at $509.99.
