Attorneys, judges, and legal administrators across California have named Esquire Bank the state’s premier law firm funding provider in the 2026 “Best Of” survey by The Recorder. This top ranking cements the Jericho-based institution's status within the local legal community, earning it a permanent place in the publication's Hall of Fame.

The recognition follows a consistent performance, with the bank maintaining a top-three position for at least three of the last four years. This accolade highlights the institution's specialized focus on plaintiff law firms, a sector the leadership team views as a critical engine for their national growth strategy. Andrew C. Sagliocca, CEO and President of Esquire Financial Holdings, noted that California’s sophisticated legal environment demands financial partners capable of navigating the specific, evolving requirements of litigation-focused businesses.

Ari Kornhaber, the bank’s Co-Founder and Head of Corporate Development, attributed the success to the firm’s established relationships in the Los Angeles market. By tailoring financial and payment processing services to the unique rhythms of the litigation industry, the bank has effectively differentiated itself from traditional commercial lenders. The survey results serve as a barometer for the trust the firm has cultivated among California’s in-house counsel and law firm administrators.
