The recognition follows a period of expansion for the platform, which now supports a diverse library of titles across more than 170 countries. Huawei emphasizes that this shortlisting reflects recent investments aimed at refining the interface for both developers and end users. Having previously won the category two years ago, the ecosystem is currently banking on its established footprint to secure a repeat victory.
Industry members have until July 20 to participate in the voting process. The final results are scheduled to be announced during a gala ceremony in Cologne on August 25, coinciding with the week of the Gamescom trade fair.
