The award was presented during the chamber's Annual Hero Awards ceremony at The Camby Hotel in Phoenix. Figueroa was chosen from a pool of finalists for his work in championing employee resource groups and strengthening the company's ties to the local community. Henri' Dawes, Achieve's vice president of talent development and experience, noted that the recognition highlights Figueroa’s success in building a culture where staff feel supported in bringing their authentic selves to work.
Figueroa has been a central figure in the company’s Pride employee resource group, driving initiatives that provide educational programming and year-round support for LGBTQ+ staff. This accolade coincides with broader recognition for the firm; earlier this year, BestCompaniesAZ named Achieve one of the top three workplaces for LGBTQ+ employees in its 2026 rankings. With significant operations in the Phoenix area, Achieve continues to emphasize these initiatives to support the professional and personal well-being of its 2,200 employees across the United States.
