To bridge this gap, a $3 million grant program—funded by AmeriCorps and the Popeyes Foundation—will support youth-led service efforts and educational curricula in schools nationwide. This push for engagement is supported by an upcoming independent documentary from filmmakers Greg Jacobs and Jon Siskel, which chronicles the two-decade evolution of the movement.
