UnionHub Launches IQ Intelligence Layer to Simplify Benefit Management

Navigating hundreds of benefit plans and dense policy language remains a primary hurdle for modern workers and administrators. Denver-based UnionHub is addressing this complexity by rolling out UnionHub IQ™, an artificial intelligence layer embedded across its Peak™ platform to provide real-time, actionable guidance for users and benefit managers.

The new tool functions as an intelligence layer designed to augment human decision-making rather than automate it. By providing visual cues and plain-language explanations within the software, the system helps employees understand their specific coverage and enrollment options. Founder and CEO Edward Haley emphasized that the technology is intended to empower the workforce, positioning the platform as a way for unions, employers, and families to navigate a rapidly changing economic landscape.

For administrators managing complex plan structures, the platform aims to reduce the time spent on routine service calls. The system surfaces billing details, deduction timelines, and policy provisions directly within the user interface, allowing staff to resolve inquiries faster without losing oversight of the process. UnionHub IQ™ is currently being integrated across the company’s suite of services, including Peak Pay™, Peak BenAdmin™, and Peak CRM™, with further features scheduled for release throughout 2026.
