The gala, themed "Brotherhood, Business, and Benevolence: Remaining Legacy Driven!," takes place September 19, 2026, at the Hanover Marriott. The evening recognizes the chapter’s enduring impact in Newark, where members have championed social change for ten decades. Notable figures in the organization’s history include Walter G. Alexander, the first African American to serve in the New Jersey state legislature, and William Mobile Ashby, who established the state’s first Urban League.
Dr. Randal D. Pinkett, chairman and CEO of BCT Partners and a fellow fraternity member, will deliver the keynote address, bringing his expertise in business innovation and social equity to the stage. ABC7NY meteorologist Brittany Bell will serve as the mistress of ceremonies, lending her voice to the milestone celebration. Proceeds from the event support the chapter’s ongoing charitable initiatives through the Alpha Alpha Lambda Community Development and Scholarship foundations.
