Al Fresco Debuts Seasonal Hot Honey Chicken Sausage

Sweet heat is hitting the grill this season as Al Fresco rolls out its latest limited-edition offering. The Chelsea-based company is banking on the growing appetite for spicy-honey flavor profiles, launching a fully cooked chicken sausage designed to bridge the gap between convenience and trending culinary demands.

The new product blends wildflower honey with a measured kick of heat, targeting consumers who prioritize quick preparation without sacrificing protein content. Each link provides 11 grams of protein and is crafted from 100% natural chicken, omitting artificial ingredients entirely. According to Frederica Turner, Vice President of Marketing, the release addresses a specific demand for elevated, trend-forward options that fit into active, daily routines.

Designed for versatility, the sausage is intended for everything from standard grilled fare to grain bowls, pasta dishes, or bite-sized appetizers. The product is currently available at select retailers, but shoppers have a limited window to find it on shelves; the seasonal run concludes in August 2026. Al Fresco, a subsidiary of the family-owned Kayem Foods, continues to focus its portfolio on clean-label proteins as it expands its footprint in the better-for-you meat category.
